Mobiqa specialise in rendering tickets, coupons, boarding passes and website content for display on mobile devices within six key sectors: Airline, Events, Cinema, Live Events, Rail and Retail. Our customers include some of the world’s leading players within these sectors such as; Major League Baseball, Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, Delta Airlines, Qatar Airways, Malaysia Airlines and more.
About the Job
This is a general development position and you can expect a wide range of challenging opportunities to develop server and client side solutions ranging from internal utilities through to core company products.
We develop using tools and techniques appropriate to the task, but our central activities are usually based around Java, Spring, Hibernate and general RDBMS.
Our development process is informed, but not bound, by Agile development processes and we expect active contribution to the planning process and then commitment to the timely completion of the work.
We encourage an informal and flexible working environment and, in return, expect above average dedication to the success of the company.
About You
You will have recognised that handheld communications and computers are the next major technology wave and will be excited by the opportunity to participate in this area.
You will be comfortable working as part of an informal and dynamic team and will enjoy the challenges of cutting edge technologies and new products.
You will feel a strong sense of ownership and pride in your code and be keen to provide input to the design process and then be comfortable discussing and presenting your ideas to your technical peers and non-technical end users.
Above all else, you will thoroughly enjoy the creation of innovative software solutions.
