Nick Rankin, CEO
Nick brings to Mobiqa a mix of strong leadership, client service expertise and financial acumen. Nick is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having spent almost ten years working in the corporate finance practice of Deloitte. Having moved into industry, Nick led the growth and development of London's largest independent marketing communications agency, before returning to Scotland to join Mobiqa.
Ronnie Forbes, CTO
Ronnie is the founder and CTO of Mobiqa with over 20 years experience in IT, building high-volume, mission critical applications primarily for clients in the finance sector. Ronnie has moved with the internet technology wave and has spent the last eight years developing leading solutions in the mobile space. He is recognised as an authority in this area and has participated in a range of conferences as an expert in m-commerce and ticketing.
Alex Eachus, Head of Commercial
Alex Eachus has worked for a number of blue-chip companies, predominantly with a media/new media bias - Ticketmaster, Ebookers, Excite and Datamonitor. Alex brings to Mobiqa a mix of strong business development, sales and account management skills. As a born and bred Londoner, Alex also doubles as Mobiqa's Southern UK/England representative.
Dr Matthew Wood, Operations and Delivery Manager
With a PhD in computer science and a background in industrial-sponsored research, Matthew has over a decade of experience helping innovative small businesses realise their potential. Matthew moved to Scotland in 1999 and worked in the financial systems arena before joining Mobiqa in 2005. Translating cutting edge research and development into real world solutions, Matthew is responsible for the delivery of Mobiqa's solutions to its valued customers, including product development and deployment, handset management, server networks and infrastructure.
Murray Tait, Software Development Manager
Murray has worked for a wide range of blue chip companies during his two decades in IT. After 10 years working internationally as a consultant specialising in the specification of Financial Risk Systems, Murray returned to Scotland and joined Mobiqa as Software Development Manager. He has relished the opportunity to put his extensive experience of the software development process into practical effect and looks forward to reinforcing Mobiqa's reputation as a centre of software development excellence.
Nicola Wee, PR, Marketing & Business Development
Nicola joined Mobiqa in 2006 bringing with her a firm understanding and experience in both agency and in-house public relations practices. Nicola is responsible for overseeing the PR and marketing activities at Mobiqa and supports the business development and project management function of the Sales Team.
Sam MacDonald, Office Manager
Sam joined Mobiqa in April 2008, coming from an office administration background, she brings to Mobiqa her excellent organisational skills and deals with a wide variety of duties. As Office Manager, Sam oversees all office administration duties and plays a key role in the PR and Marketing activities for Mobiqa.
